About the role

Don Signature Crab operates a central storage and distribution hub supplying our restaurants and retail partners across Singapore. This role is based at our Tuas warehouse and focuses on handling chilled and frozen seafood, maintaining temperature logs, and ensuring first-in-first-out (FIFO) stock rotation.

You will work closely with the procurement and kitchen teams to receive deliveries, inspect quality, and prepare orders for daily dispatch. The ideal candidate is practical, reliable and experienced in basic warehouse routines; we provide on-the-job training for company systems and food-safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming chilled and frozen deliveries for quality, quantity and temperature compliance.
  • Unload/load pallets using hand pallet jack and secure items in designated cold-room zones.
  • Maintain accurate temperature logs, record deviations and escalate issues per SOP.
  • Perform FIFO stock rotation and regular inventory counts to minimise wastage.
  • Pick and prepare daily order changes for outlet dispatches, ensuring correct packing and labelling.
  • Follow HACCP and company food-safety procedures, including cleaning and sanitising cold-room areas.
  • Assist with basic maintenance checks on cold-room equipment and report faults promptly.
  • Work with supervisors to improve storage layout and streamline picking routes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse or cold-room experience in F&B, seafood or frozen goods handling.
  • Comfortable working in low-temperature environments (chilled / frozen rooms).
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move boxes up to 25 kg safely on a regular basis.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy in English to complete logs, labels and simple inventory records.
  • Able to work shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays on rotation.
  • Eligible to work in Singapore.
  • Willingness to follow strict hygiene and food-safety protocols (PPE use, handwashing, etc.).

Work schedule

Typical week: 5.5 to 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays on rotation.

  • Early morning: 06:00 – 14:00 (typical for outbound orders to breakfast/lunch services)
  • Afternoon: 14:00 – 22:00 (restocking and prep for evening outlets)
  • Night / off-peak: 22:00 – 06:00 (periodic deep-cleaning and large incoming shipments)
