About the role
Don Signature Tea Bar is a neighbourhood bubble tea concept from a small F&B group known for fresh-brewed teas, house-made pearls and no-preservative syrups. Our Parkway Parade outlet serves a mixed crowd of families, students and office workers with a steady daytime and evening rush.
The Tea Barista will be responsible for consistent drink preparation, maintaining clean and organised back-of-house operations, handling POS transactions and providing warm, efficient service. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment and wants on-the-job training in modern tea techniques.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare bubble tea drinks to recipe specifications (brewing tea, syrup dosing, pearl cooking and portioning).
- Operate POS, handle cash and e-payments accurately and complete end-of-shift cash-up.
- Serve customers with friendly and efficient service; manage queue during peak periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of drink station, equipment sanitisation and daily opening/closing checks.
- Monitor inventory levels of key ingredients (tea leaves, pearls, syrups) and report shortages.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including temperature control and allergen awareness.
- Assist with simple stock deliveries, rotation (FIFO) and storage organisation.
- Support occasional in-store promotions, sampling events and new product trials.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in a café, bubble tea shop or fast-casual F&B role preferred.
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays on rotation.
- Comfortable with standing for long periods and performing repetitive beverage preparation tasks.
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and portion control; experience using a POS is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English; ability to converse in Mandarin or Malay is beneficial for customer service.
- Willingness to learn standardised drink recipes and follow quality control checks.
- Singapore citizen / PR or valid work pass to work in Singapore.

Work schedule
Typical week: 5.5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays on rotation.
- 10:00–19:00 (day shift)
- 13:00–22:00 (evening shift)
