About the role

Don Signature Crab is a fast-growing seafood restaurant group known for its live seafood and signature chilli and black pepper crab. We operate a mix of full-service restaurants in heartland malls and central locations, supported by a central kitchen and delivery channels.

The Operations Manager (Multi-Outlet) will be responsible for end-to-end operations across several outlets, working closely with outlet managers, central kitchen and corporate teams. This role balances people management, SOP implementation, cost control and guest standards — ideal for an operator who enjoys both fieldwork and strategic oversight.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced F&B operations leader to join a stable local group with expansion plans and clear career progression to Area Manager or Head of Operations. Expect a fast-paced role with hands-on problem solving, regular site visits and involvement in new outlet openings.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across 3–6 outlets, ensuring consistent service and food quality
  • Drive sales and cost targets at outlet level, monitor P&L and implement corrective actions
  • Provide leadership and coaching to outlet managers; conduct regular performance reviews and trainings
  • Standardise SOPs across outlets and audit compliance (food safety, hygiene, guest service)
  • Manage inventory, stock controls and supplier relationships; reduce food and beverage cost leakage
  • Coordinate with central kitchen on supply planning, menu rollout and quality assurance
  • Lead outlet opening projects including recruitment, training, equipment checks and trial service
  • Handle guest escalations and implement improvements from feedback and mystery audits
  • Prepare weekly operational reports and present improvement plans to senior management

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' F&B operations experience with at least 2 years overseeing multi-outlet operations
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets, controlling costs and improving outlet performance
  • Strong people management skills; experience training and developing outlet managers and supervisors
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control and basic financial reporting
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore citizen, PR or valid work pass)
  • Good communication in English; able to manage vendor relationships and cross-team coordination
  • Valid driving licence preferred for regular site visits

Work schedule

Typical week: 5.5–6 days per week with weekend rotation and public holiday coverage as required.

  • Core office hours with frequent site visits across outlets (typically starts 09:00–18:00)
  • Evening checks during peak service (split between day and evening hours)
  • On-call for escalations and major outlet issues, especially during openings or promotions
