Kitchen Helper / Kitchen Hand
About the role
Little Red Kopitiam is a neighbourhood-style kopitiam serving kopitiam breakfast, zi char-style lunch dishes and kopitiam drinks to a steady heartland crowd. Our Bedok / East Coast outlet is busy on weekday mornings and at lunchtime with nearby office workers, families and regulars.
The Kitchen Helper will be a core part of a small, friendly back-of-house team. You will handle basic food preparation, washing and cleaning, portioning, stock rotation and assisting cooks during peak service. This role is ideal if you are physically fit, punctual and keen to learn basic kitchen operations in a hawker/heartland kopitiam environment.
We offer on-the-job training, a supportive team and regular shifts with opportunities to pick up basic cooking or wok skills for candidates who show initiative. This is a practical hands-on role with scope to progress into commis or line cook roles over time.
