About the role

Don Signature Crab Group operates a family-friendly seafood restaurant concept with private dining rooms and off-site catering across the East Coast and central Singapore. We cater to birthday parties, corporate lunches, company D&Ds and festive set menus with a strong focus on seafood and Cantonese-inspired sharing plates.

The Events Coordinator will be the main point of contact for clients from enquiry to post-event follow-up. You will prepare proposals and quotations, coordinate menus with chefs, manage on-site set up and run event operations to ensure smooth guest experiences. This role suits an organised, hands-on events professional comfortable working in a busy F&B environment with weekend and evening commitments.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage event enquiries from initial enquiry to contract signing and deposit collection
  • Prepare event proposals, customised menus, seating plans and quotations
  • Coordinate with chefs on menu selection, dietary requirements and timing of courses
  • Oversee on-site event setup, FOH rostering, timings and final guest experience
  • Liaise with suppliers (AV, florists, decorators) and venue partners as required
  • Monitor event budgets, manage invoicing and post-event billing reconciliation
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with operations and kitchen teams
  • Collect client feedback and manage any service recovery or follow-up actions

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' events or F&B experience, preferably within a restaurant group or catering environment
  • Proven ability to manage events for groups from 20 to 200 guests
  • Strong written and spoken English; conversational Mandarin a plus for client liaison
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word) and basic experience with POS or booking systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail under service pressure
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on rotation
  • Singapore citizen or valid work pass to work in Singapore

Work schedule

Typical week: 5.5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays on rotation.

  • Day shifts for corporate lunch events (typically 9:00–17:00)
  • Evening shifts for private dinners and functions (typically 14:00–23:00)
  • Occasional split shifts and on-call availability during peak season
