Delivery Driver (Catering Van)

About the role

Don Signature Crab is an established seafood and zi char catering brand serving corporate events, private functions and weekend seafood diners across Singapore. We operate a busy central kitchen and run regular off-site catering for weddings, corporate lunches and private parties. The role supports our logistics team by delivering hot and chilled food in temperature-controlled catering vans to venues across the island.

The Delivery Driver (Catering Van) will be responsible for safe driving, correct handling of food packages, timely drop-offs and assisting set-up teams at event sites when required. This is a hands-on position with early starts and event-driven hours; candidates should be comfortable with physical loading, basic vehicle checks and interacting professionally with clients on site. The position offers steady hours, overtime pay for event runs and opportunities to progress into senior driver or logistics coordinator roles within the group.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company catering van safely and legally to deliver food orders across Singapore, following scheduled routes and ETAs
• Load and unload well-packed hot and chilled items; ensure food temperature control during transit
• Coordinate with kitchen dispatch and event teams on arrival times and delivery details
• Provide courteous, professional customer interaction at client sites; confirm delivery items and gather signatures where required
• Assist with light on-site setup and placement of food items when requested by the events team
• Perform daily vehicle checks (oil, tyre pressure, lights) and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly
• Maintain van cleanliness and ensure all catering equipment and packaging are returned or accounted for
• Keep accurate delivery records, proof of delivery, mileage logs and incident reports

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (or equivalent) with clean driving record and ability to drive light goods vehicles / vans
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience in Singapore, preferably with F&B, catering or events deliveries
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads, expressways (ECP, PIE, AYE) and common event venues (CBD, hotels, community centres)
• Physically able to handle moderate lifting (boxes, trays) and work in hot/humid conditions during loading/unloading
• Strong time management and communication skills; punctual and dependable
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays on rotation
• Singapore citizen / PR or valid work pass for employment in Singapore
