About the role

Don Signature Crab is a neighbourhood seafood-focused restaurant with an intimate cocktail bar serving creative cocktails alongside a menu of signature crab dishes. The bar attracts a mix of local regulars, after-work crowds from the CBD and tourists exploring Club Street and Ann Siang.

The Bartender will run the bar during evening services, execute a cocktail menu that complements the kitchen's seafood-forward flavours, and maintain high standards of service and bar presentation. You'll work closely with the bar supervisor and kitchen to deliver smooth service during busy shifts, support events and private functions, and contribute to menu ideas and promotions.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails to a high standard during service
  • Take drink orders, operate the POS, manage cash and card transactions accurately
  • Maintain bar mise en place, restock garnishes, ice and glassware between shifts
  • Manage inventory of spirits, liqueurs, mixers and garnishes; perform regular stock counts
  • Ensure full compliance with hygiene, food safety and liquor licensing rules
  • Deliver friendly, attentive guest service and handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally
  • Support private events and pop-ups including cocktail menu execution and briefings
  • Train and mentor barbacks and junior hires; uphold opening and closing checklists
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and management on cocktail-food pairing and new menu items

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cocktail bar or similar nightlife venue
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, liqueurs and classic cocktail techniques (shaking, stirring, muddling)
  • Comfortable working evening shifts, weekends and public holidays on a rota
  • Good communication skills in English and customer-service mindset
  • Previous experience with stock control, POS systems and cash handling
  • Eligible to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, PR or valid work pass)

Work schedule

Typical week: 5–6 days per week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays on rotation.

  • Evening shift (16:00–00:00)
  • Late shift (18:00–02:00) for peak service nights
  • Occasional split or early shifts for private events and set-up
